The main purpose of Invent Upshot is to make remote inventories of your network and take the control of remote computers. It requires no change in the network, no database, no dedicated equipment and zero user intervention. The only thing you need to realize the remote inventories is to use a networked computer and network administrator's credentials (see the FAQ if you encounter problems).
